Clarity before protocol.
Built for high-performing adults who want answers, not guesswork. Hormones • metabolism • weight • recovery • longevityIs this just aging, or is something actually off?
Many adults notice fatigue, weight changes, poor recovery, brain fog, or sleep disruption and assume it is normal aging. Fuel by Design starts with clinical assessment and labs to better understand what may be contributing to those changes.
What does the initial consultation cost?
The initial consultation starts at $299. Labs, medications, supplements, and ongoing care vary by plan and clinical needs.
Do you offer telehealth across Ohio?
Telehealth may be available for patients located in Ohio when clinically appropriate. Some services may require labs, in-person evaluation, or referral to local providers.
Do results vary?
Yes. Outcomes depend on medical history, labs, adherence, lifestyle, treatment eligibility, and individual physiology. Fuel by Design does not guarantee specific results.

Getting Started
Who is Fuel by Design best for?
Fuel by Design is built for high-performing adults who want clarity around hormones, metabolism, energy, weight, recovery, and long-term health. It is not designed for bargain shoppers, quick-fix seekers, or patients unwilling to follow a structured plan.
What happens during the initial consultation?
Your consultation reviews symptoms, goals, health history, lifestyle, and next steps for labs or clinical assessment. Medical recommendations are made only when appropriate after evaluation.
What should I expect after I request a consultation?
Fuel by Design will review your request and provide the next step, which may include intake forms, scheduling, lab discussion, or a clinical consultation pathway.
Do I need labs before starting?
Labs are often part of the process because Fuel by Design is built around clinical clarity. The exact labs needed depend on your goals, symptoms, health history, and provider evaluation.
How long does optimization take?
Many care pathways begin with an initial 90-day optimization phase followed by long-term monitoring and refinement. Timelines vary by patient, service, clinical response, and adherence.
Hormone Optimization
Are hormones safe, and are they right for me?
Hormone therapy has potential risks and benefits. Treatment decisions are made individually after reviewing medical history, symptoms, labs, risk factors, and goals. Not all patients qualify.
What is the difference between TRT and hormone optimization?
TRT may be one part of hormone optimization for men with clinically appropriate findings. Fuel by Design focuses on labs, symptoms, metabolic health, monitoring, and long-term protocol refinement rather than basic replacement alone.
What is BHRT for women?
BHRT stands for bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. It may be considered for women experiencing perimenopause or menopause symptoms such as fatigue, sleep disruption, mood changes, brain fog, or weight changes when clinically appropriate.
Can hormone care help with weight gain or fatigue?
Hormones may influence energy, metabolism, sleep, body composition, and recovery. A clinical evaluation and labs help determine whether hormone patterns are relevant to your symptoms.
How are patients monitored?
Monitoring may include symptom tracking, follow-up visits, lab review, safety screening, dose adjustments, and ongoing evaluation based on the treatment plan and provider recommendations.
Medical Weight Loss
Is medical weight loss only about medication?
No. At Fuel by Design, medical weight loss may include metabolic and hormone labs, nutrition strategy, medication-assisted options when appropriate, muscle preservation, and ongoing optimization.
Do you prescribe GLP-1 medications?
Medication options may be discussed when clinically appropriate. A provider must review your health history, labs, goals, risk factors, and treatment eligibility before determining whether any prescription option is appropriate.
Will I lose muscle during weight loss?
Muscle preservation is a key focus. A responsible plan may include protein strategy, resistance training, recovery support, and ongoing monitoring to support body composition while losing fat.
What happens after I lose weight?
Maintenance planning is part of the strategy. The goal is to support long-term metabolic health, preserve lean mass, reduce rebound risk, and refine your plan as your body changes.
Who qualifies for weight loss medication?
Eligibility depends on medical history, current medications, lab findings, goals, risk factors, and clinical evaluation. Not all patients qualify for prescription weight loss support.
Longevity & Performance
Is optimization the same as anti-aging?
Not exactly. “Anti-aging” is often used as a broad marketing term. Optimization is a clinical, data-led approach that prioritizes prevention, metabolic health, recovery, resilience, and long-term stability.
Who qualifies for longevity medicine?
Eligibility depends on health history, symptoms, goals, labs, and clinical evaluation. This service is generally designed for adults seeking sustained energy, cognitive clarity, physical resilience, and long-term performance planning.
Can I combine longevity care with TRT, BHRT, or weight loss?
Yes, when clinically appropriate. Longevity and performance work can complement hormone optimization or metabolic care if your evaluation shows those areas are relevant.
What does performance optimization include?
It may include advanced labs, clinical assessment, lifestyle strategy, recovery support, metabolic optimization, hormone evaluation when appropriate, and ongoing refinement.
Telehealth, Pricing & Policies
Do you accept insurance?
Fuel by Design operates as a self-pay medical practice unless otherwise stated. Patients are responsible for all charges.
What is your cancellation policy?
Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a fee.
Are consultation fees refundable?
Consultation fees, administrative fees, and medical services are non-refundable once rendered. Labs, medications, supplements, and compounded prescriptions are non-refundable once ordered or dispensed.
Is this website for emergency medical care?
No. Fuel by Design does not provide emergency medical services through this website. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or seek immediate care.
Can I be treated if I am outside Ohio?
Medical services are offered only where providers are appropriately licensed and where telehealth is legally permitted. This website does not constitute an offer to provide medical services in states where providers are not licensed.
